Seymour Krieger served with the staff of the US Chief of Counsel office under Justice Jackson during the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg during 1945 and 1946. He participated in the indictments against Nazis for cimes against Allied soldiers and prisoners of war, and for persecution of Jews. After his service in Nuremberg, he returned to Washington, D.
